Live talk is a project aimed at combining digital signals, physical computing, and mechatronics to develop an interactive physical experience. We constructed a self-made sensor that records and identifies the capacity changes of plants when subjected to different gestures. The electrical signals captured by the sensor were sent to a machine learning software, which trained our algorithm to classify various gestures.
Each gesture was then encapsulated and converted into an action by a robotic arm, reflecting the variety of signals that a plant can generate.
